May 2015 Fab Bag - Sun, Sand and Sexy

Finally I have updated my May 2015 Fab Bag review and I know I maybe one of the last ones to do so. The May Fab Bags were dispatched awfully late this time and thus I got mine on the day before I left for my vacation. My followers on Instagram maybe aware of the fact that I had gone on a long vacation to Dubai and Abu Dhabi and so I was lacking behind on a lot of posts. So getting back on track the May edition was themed Sun, Sand and Sexy which was so apt considering the heat wave that was going on. The bag was blue and white sailor stripped and consisted of a lot of products that would help you cope up with the hot summer heat. Also, I was happy that we did not get the usual summer products like Sunscreen and facial mists. So let's have a look at the contents of my bag.

For my friends who aren't aware of Fab Bag, its a monthly beauty subscription bag that charges a fee of Rs. 600/- per month along with some add on discounts and gifts on purchase of the 3 months, 6 months and 12 months subscription. This bag contains 3 deluxe sized product samples and sometimes even full size products. Like in this month's bag I got two full sized products and a scarf complimentary with it along with some additional samples.

Be a Bombshell Eyeshadow - Bora Bora. (Full Size)
When I read the name of this eyeshadow palette all I could think of was the island Bora Bora. The colors in this palette are very summer oriented. In spite of being summertime shades they are not too bold and would suit most of the skin tones. The quad comprises of 4 shades nude golden, lush teal, rich mocha and metallic copper. I personally found the teal shade the prettiest and the most interesting as I dint possess such a shade in any of my other palettes. Sadly, the golden would not stand out on me but overall am pretty pleased with this palette and this is my most favorite product in this bag.

Some of the benefits of rice scrubs include minimizing pores, smoothing the skin, glowing skin, etc. After knowing such benefits I really wanted to try rice scrubs and when Fab Bag included a full sized product in this months bag I was overjoyed. This amazing product by Vana Vidhi is a face and body cleanser cum scrub. After the first use itself I felt that I had a healthy smooth glowing skin. This is not like your usual scrubs as the ingredients are natural and thus the scrub granules are not that harsh on your skin. I am yet to notice any visible pore minimalisation but then again this helped reduce my extreme summer tan so am super happy with it.

Vichy Ideal White 2 Step Routine sample kit
The 2 Step routine consists of a 15ml ideal white brightening deep cleansing foam and a 3ml ideal white meta whitening essence. Until now both the products seem really nice and mild products and since these are my first Vichy products am getting fond of this brand.
Truly speaking I was a bit skeptic when I saw the whitening essence and was sure that this product could not be judged by this tiny sample. I used the product a couple of times and now am totally loving the essence. Only a tiny amount of the product is required and to my surprise even the tiny 3ml sample would last nearly for a week.

I was a little disheartened this time seeing only 3 products. However, the additional scarf and the two full sized products have more than made up for it. More than the Vichy products I had my heart set on the SAND products as I have heard a lot about them. The face puree and totally peanuts cleansers look and sound absolutely amazing. Hopefully, I will try it soon now that they are easily available on the Fab Bag wwbsite.

| Fab Post and the Fab Scarf by Bling |
The pretty scarf that I received from the brand Bling was black and white colored as you can see in the pictures above. Looking at the color and pattern it would suit all most all my outfits.
The Fab Post included tips and tricks to help you get past the heat blissfully. It had a lot of ideas like how to make the perfect beach waves without using heat, DIY face masks etc. Along with these lovely ideas there were also a lot of huge discounts on various skincare and makeup products.
