Maybelline FitMe! Foundation in 310 Sun Beige |
- The product is housed in a sturdy and classy screw up glass bottle packaging. The fact that the bottle doesn't have a pump dispenser may not appeal to some but frankly it doesn't seem to bother me. The foundation is available in 6 shades namely - Ivory, Medium Beige, Natural Buff, Sun Beige, Toast, and Toffee all of which would compliment sunkissed beauties well. My perfect shade match (NC 40-42) among the shades available is 310 Sun Beige as it has warm undertones in it.
- The foundation has a creamy texture due to which you need not be cautious while applying it as it wouldn't spill out. Inspite, of being creamy in texture on application this gives the feel of a lightweight and buildable formula making it perfect for everyday wear. It hides nearly all the darkspots and blemishes without the use of a concealer. It is easy to apply and blend as you can see in the pictures that it was hard to get the swatches as well.
- I have combination skin type and I usually prefer matte foundations to avoid a shiny T-zone. The foundation settles within a couple of minutes into a natural matte finish. The lasting power of this beauty is upto 6hours after which a little touch up maybe necessary. As per me this foundation will not suit people with dry skin too well as the matte finish may tend to exaggerates fine lines and dry patches but there is nothing that a little bit of moisturiser cant fix.
- The feature that attracts me the most about this product is the poreless effect, the 25% anti-shine perlite and micro blurring powders reduce the appearance of visible pores and I will without a doubt support this claim. The name of this product aptly compliments its nature as it blends perfectly well with the skintone giving the appearance of an even skintone and is definitely my perfect fit!
