August 2016 Favourites
4:17:00 PMHello Chicsters!
Another month has come to an end and here I am with another monthly favourite's post. Some of the products included in my list are the products that helped me in this uncertain monsoon weather and the rest are the ones that I simply cannot have enough of (specially the lippie and the necklace). So keep reading on to know more about the products that I have included in this list of mine...
August 2016 Favourites |
Kama Ayurveda Nimrah face pack : The main reasons I fancy this face pack is because its 100% natural and free of Parabens. I usually like using this on the weekends as it really helps my skin and me feel calm. The mask sufficiently hydrates my skin but at the same time it even gets rid of the excess oil on my otherwise oily T-zone. I also use it occasionally as a scrub cause of its slightly coarse texture that helps me gently exfoliate. An add on benefit was that it also helped me in reducing my uneven tan to a great extent. Nivea In-shower body milk (Dry Skin): The concept of an in-shower cream was very new and intriguing to me because of which I couldn't help myself from trying it. All you have to do is apply this lotion after you have used your body wash, leave it on for two minutes and then rinse it off. The product gives a slippery feel which goes away once you have dried yourself with a towel. This in-shower body lotion has been sufficiently hydrating for me during the monsoon season however, this lotion alone will not be enough to hydrate my skin in winter.
Sugar It's A-Pout Time! Vivid Lipstick in 03 Mad Magenta : Mad Magenta is a subtle magenta shade with pretty pink hues that is perfect for day wear. I would definitely consider this lipstick as one of the best in terms of its formula, as even though this is a matte lipstick you need not worry of the product being drying or settling into fine lines. The lipstick is very pigmented and give full coverage to my pigmented lips in just two swipes. Even after fading it tends to leave a discreet stain on the lips. The staying power of this lipstick is nearly 4-5 hours after which it tends to fade a bit. Read the full review here...
Forever 21 Silver linked Statement necklace
Forever 21 is undoubtedly one of the most trustworthy stores for me when it comes to shopping for accessories. As rather than picking up which one to buy most pf the time I have to go through the struggle of picking which one I like the best as they all are very appealing. This particular silver linked statement necklace with minimal detailing can be teamed up easily with any and every outfit though it be your comfy boyfriend shirt and jeggings or a lovely skater dress.
