- Helps heal burns: In the past, I have tried this method personally many times and not once have I been disappointed. Aloe Vera gel has a soothing and cooling effect on minor burns. Topical application of aloe Vera gel on the affected area can help calm the skin and further can even stop the skin from getting bruised. It has also been noticed to heal sunburned skin. It also helps speed up cell regeneration 8times.
- Eczema & Psoriasis: The moisturizing properties of aloe vera gel have been known to alleviate the dryness and itchiness of the skin. Another key benefit of aloe Vera gel is that it helps reduce redness and inflammation of the skin which is especially helpful for eczema and psoriasis.
- Helps aid hair growth: Aloe Vera gel contains proteolytic enzymes that helps repair the dead skin on the scalp. When applied to the scalp, it helps increase blood circulation. This increased blood circulation in turn helps increase new growth of hair. It also helps to treat any scalp problems like dryness, flaky skin, dandruff and itchiness. The best part is that it doubles up as a great hair conditioner.
- Acne fighter: Aloe Vera gel is undoubtedly considered a boon for acne-prone skin. Its anti-microbial properties help treat acne without causing any damage to the skin. It also has antiseptic properties, these properties help the skin fight against bacteria. Aloe Vera gel also works as a great astringent by getting rid of excess sebum and dirt from the skin.
- Helps even out skin tone: Aloe Vera gel is rich in salicylic acid which is a great ingredient to treat stubborn dark spots. As per research, aloe Vera is very effective in treating UV-induced and post-acne hyperpigmentation. It consists of components like aloin and aloesin that helps reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation. Aloe Vera gel is also packed with vitamins A, C and antioxidants which help in reducing dark spots in turn making your skin look clearer and even.

However, it is very difficult to find an aloe vera gel that is truly pure, natural, organic, and with no added colour to it. The one that I have been loving and using lately is the Deyga Aloe Vera gel. This aloe vera gel is one of my best finds of 2021, mainly because it has no other added nasties to it and it’s pure aloe vera extract in it most natural form. It has worked wonders for me and has been an absolute skin soother in summer.
